He's famed for his mad outfits and larger-than-life personality on America's Next Top Model.
So imagine our excitement when we were given the chance to chat to Miss J, aka J Alexander, about all things fashion-related.
We talk parties, poses and fashion crushes with the man himself.
You're a judge for W hotel's new W Insider contest (to find a Brit who knows anything and everything about London), what would you look for in a fellow fashion insider?
"Obviously the key word is fashion, someone who has a little bit of taste, who knows a little bit, if not a lot, about fashion and generally is on the pulse of things."

NY Fashion Week is underway, so which do you prefer: the front row fashion or after-parties?
"For me it's more about the shows, because visually I want to be able to see what's happening in NY, so I'm going to go to shows and absorb the information like a sponge."

Who has better style, us Brits or Americans?
"I think the English are a little more fashion forward. You take a more risks. The English are a little more experimental when it comes to fashion and they go back to the punk rock days. A lot of Americans get their ideas from the English. You look at Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and these people who do things that are a little bit more interesting and sometimes Americans follow suit."
Who are your favourite English designers?
"One of my favourites was Alexander McQueen. He was brilliant: great. I love Vivenne Westwood for men, because I'm that type of outrageous male so I love what she does. I'm probably going to start calling her and telling her what I want next: 'So I'm thinking like a bias-cut kilt with a slightly high heel...' That would be perfect for me. Perfect!"
