The wrap dress is an absolute must for every woman’s wardrobe. It can simultaneously hide all manner of sins whilst also flaunting all our best bits – namely legs and bust. Diane von Furstenberg is the queen of the wrap dress, cutting them to fit like a fashion dream and they come with a price tag that is not completely off-limits. Though if you're looking for a cheaper option, the high street is over-flowing with jersey wrap dresses.
SJP has opted for a fairly short hemline but there are longer options available - if you're petite like her it's often best to go for a shorter length so as to make the most of your legs and make you appear those few crucial inches taller.
SJP’s orangey red dress is a great colour choice for blondes with fair complexions as well as brunettes with darker skin tones. Unfortunately, it’s a no-go colour zone for red heads, but if you find a similar style in a sea green then you’re onto a winner.
We love that instead of choosing to accessorise with a 'safe' colour like black, she has chosen to inject even more colour by opting for a purple print clutch and a multi-coloured statement necklace and chunky bracelet. This undoubtedly gives SJP a slightly younger and fresher look - in fact, you could be looking at Carrie Bradshaw circa 2000. Such is the power of the wrap dress.
If you wanted to go for a slightly more wintery look with a wrap dress like SJP's then you can always team it with a pair of opaque tights, chunky platform ankle boots and this season's must-have style of coat; the camel coat.
